Sixty years after the iconic Monkey King from the 1961 animated film "Uproar in Heaven" and the 1986 TV series version of "Journey to the West," on January 12, 2022, "Uproar in Heaven" became the first "visitor" to Metro's Metaverse, thanks to a 3,000㎡ 4K ultra-high-definition giant spherical screen created by Mightary LED. Here, traditional culture meets modern technology in the virtual realm, illuminating Metro City with vibrant colors, captivating visuals, and the timeless image of the Monkey King!
Metro City has introduced a 3,000㎡ LED ultra-high-definition display from Mightary LED, establishing an entrance to the Metaverse. Mightary LED replaced the original light strips with 3,888 4K display panels, increasing precision by over 20 times and covering a total area of 3,000 square meters. By employing cutting-edge international algorithms, color accuracy has been enhanced by 170%, achieving a 1.6 billion-color palette, resulting in more exquisite visual effects.
This upgrade can be dubbed the "Crystal Ball 3.0," evolving from light particles to light strips, and now to high-definition displays. Rooted in technology, Metro City achieves a cross-boundary interaction between traditional culture and technology, aligning with the "Metaverse" concept. With cultural IP at its core, it enhances the sense of experience and immersion. The phenomenal IP, Monkey King, as an early prototype in the Metaverse, officially lands with the opening of Metro's spherical screen, marking the official launch of Metro's Metaverse layout.
